Where to Launch or Eat on Lake Whitney
Lake Whitney has a number of excellent marinas. Some are brand new, others are recently updated and some offer a restaurant as well.
- Parsons Marina at Lake Whitney. A newly renovated marina, Parsons offers boat slips, launching, RV sites and a terrific restaurant with a beautiful view. It can be accessed on the East side of Whitney Dam, through Loafer’s Bend Park Road.
- Juniper Cove Marina. A long established marina, Juniper Cove has new owners within the past 2 years. It is a deep water marina with slips, a ship’s store on the dock, camping sites and cabins. Juniper Cove Marina is at the end of Juniper Cove Road, off of FM1713.
- Whitney Ridge Marina. A new marina offering all covered slips, ship store, boat ramps, fishing pier, food truck. It also has cabins, swimming pools, boat repair, boat rentals. This marina is on the west side of the Whitney Dam, on CR 1710 (off of state highway 22).
- White Bluff Resort Marina. Located inside gated White Bluff Resort, this marina is available to the public. It only offers a boat ramp — slips are only available to property owners. However, the resort has a Marina Market near the ramp, dining at Mulligan’s on the New Course, beverages and pizza at The Lighthouse Pub. Hotel and cabin accommodations can also be reserved.
